Seventy one portraits of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina were displayed at the National Museum in the capital on Friday.
The portraits were exhibited marking the 71st birth anniversary of Sheikh Hasina, also the president of the ruling party Awami League.Speaker of the National Parliament Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury inaugurated the exhibition.
Besides the portraits of the Prime Minister, a total of 101 historical arts of Jamalpur district have also been exhibited.
Hasumonir Pathshala arranged the programme, which will continue from 10:00am to 8:00pm until October 18.
However, cultural affairs minister Asaduzzaman Noor was present as the chief guest on the occasion, while artist Prof Samarjit Roy Chowdhury and director general of the National Museum Maksudur Rahman Patwary, were present as the special guests.
