Eight gold bars recovered at Ctg airport

CHATTOGRAM: Customs officials recovered eight gold bars in abandoned condition from an aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport on Monday.

Assistant Commissioner (AC) Mahbubur Rahman of the Airport Customs said an aircraft ‘BG-148’ of Biman Bangladesh Airlines arrived at the airport from Dubai at 7:00am.

None of the passengers of the aircraft claimed the bag. Later, a total of eight gold bars were recovered from it, said Mahbubur.
