He has given the status for the year 2016 as a sponsor director of Meghna Cement Mills Limited, a concern of country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group.

The Ministry of Industries conferred the CIP status on 55 other entrepreneurs at a ceremony held at a city hotel on Thursday. Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu handed over the CIP cards to them.

The CIPs have been selected under seven categories — ex-officio, large-scale industry, medium industry, small industry, micro industry, cottage industry and service industry.
