Apurba completes 12 years in acting

Popular actor of the small screen Apurba has completed 12 years of his acting career recently.  In 2006, viewers watched today’s popular actor Apurba on the screen for the first time in the drama serial ‘Biyer Galpo’ directed by Gazi Rakayet.

By her first drama Apurba won the hearts of million drama lovers.

From his first project, Apurba is still very popular in the arena of small screen and his popularity is increasing day by day.

Not only at home, Apurba is also very popular among the viewers in abroad.

Commenting about his 12 years’ career in acting, Apurba said, “I express my gratitude to the almighty Allah for my beautiful life and also my parents by whom I saw the light of the world.”

“I also grateful to thank my first TVC director Amitabh Reza, first drama director Gazi Rakayet, directors Chayanika Chowdhury and Shihab Shahin and other directors who made their dramas with me.” 

“I also express my gratitude to my co-artistes, the producers, make-up artistes, camera persons, as well as journalist community for their unconditional support.”

I am also grateful to my family specially my wife Aditi for supporting me always”, he added.

Ziaul Faruq Apurba, commonly known by his last name Apurba, is a Bangladeshi model and actor.  He usually works in television, but has also appeared in films. He is also a singer.

His mother, Firoza Ahmed, was an artiste of Rajshahi Betar and his maternal grandmother was a well known presenter in Rajshahi Betar. Apurbo interested in showbusiness from an early age. He won the title of “Mr. Bangladesh” in 2002 in the talent hunt show called “You Got the Looks”.

He made his debut as a model in Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s directed TV commercial for Nescafe. His TV commercial for Lab Aid also got popularity. Apurba had set up a production house named “ASI Creations Limited” and started directing through the telefilm titled Backdated in 2012. He voiced the title track of Shihab Shahin’s drama serial Bhalobasar Chotuskone.

Apurba’s debut film is Gangster Returns released on 27 November 2015, directed by Ashiqur Rahman. He was also cast in a film Brishti Din, directed by Morshedul Islam, but it was cancelled after a few days shooting.
