Iran claim gold in men’s wrestling

Iran wrestler Hassan Yazdanicharati won a gold medal in the Asian Games 2018 freestyle wrestling in the 86-kilogram class after defeating Lebanon wrestler Domenic Michael Abounader, reports Asiangames2018.id.

In the competition held in the Jakarta Convention Center assembly hall on Sunday night, Yazdanicharati won an absolute victory with 4-0 classification points in one minute 29 seconds When the match began, Yazdanicharati appeared aggressive and took the lead in technical points 10-0.

Dozens of Iran supporters immediately stood up and shouted to celebrate the victory, while Yazdanicharati approached the stands and paid tribute to his supporters.

The results saw Iran take the gold medal, while Abounader from Lebanon won a silver medal. Meanwhile, two bronze medals were won by Kazakhstan’s Adilet Davlumbayev and Mongolia wrestler Uitumen Orgodol.

Men’s 86 kg freestyle wrestling:

Gold: Hassan Yazdanicharati.

Silver: Michael Abounader.
