He interrogates some historical characters such as Einstein (who invented the theory of atom bomb), Major Fereby (the pilot of the aircraft that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima), and Major Claude Itharby (who carried the nuclear bomb to Nagasaki and later went insane on his realisation of the crime).
On the other hand, Hargaj will be staged at the Experimental Theatre Hall of Shilpakala tomorrow at 07:00pm.
Directed by Zahid Repon, Selim Al Deen’s narrative Hargaj is based on a true story. Following a tornado, the play depicts the sufferings of people in a village, namely Hargaj under Manikganj district. The tornado hit the village in 1989.
Selim Al Deen wrote the play three years after the tornado hit the village. Through Hargaj, the master playwright has not only portrayed the massacre twisted by the tornado, but also raised the question of rescues in terms of humanity.
