Bangladesh to play South Korea in opener Oct 24

Bangladesh to play stronger South Korea in the opening Group-D match of the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship 2019 Qualifiers on October 24 at the Republican Central Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, reports UNB.

Bangladesh, which was earlier placed in Group D of the AFC women’s meet with South Korea, Chinese Taipei and hosts Tajikistan, will face Chinese Taipei on October 26 and hosts Tajikistan on October 28 in the remaining group matches at the same venue.

Out of 47 AFC member countries, 30 teams are participating in the competition with Japan, North Korea and PR China automatically qualifying for the final round of the tournament in Thailand as three top teams of the 2017 AFC U-16 Women’s Championship.
