Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Friday said those who are involved in corruption will be brought to justice.

The verdict was pronounced against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia as there was evidence of corruption. There is no involvement of the government in this regard, he said.

The minister came up with the remarks at a programme at Azampur Government Primary School in the capital’s Uttara.

“The judges are working independently. If anyone tries to create anarchy centering the Khaleda’s graft verdict, stern action will be taken against them. No one will be spared,” said Kamal.

Former Home Minister Sahara Khatun and Food Minister Qamrul Islam, among others, spoke at the programme.
