The country’s largest exposition of software industry, BASIS SoftExpo, will be held in last week of February in Dhaka.
Some 200 national and international tech firms are expected to showcase their products and services at the expo organised by Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Technology (BASIS) from February 22-15 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital.
The organisers briefed the media about the expo at BASIS office in Karwan Bazar in the capital on Monday.
BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir, Vice President Farhana A Rahman, SoftExpo Convener Mostafizur Rahaman Sohel, Diretors Riyad S A Husain and Delowar Hossain Faruk were present at the press conference.
The organisers informed that the SoftExpo will be divided in five zones for software showcasing, mobile innovation, digital commerce, tech-enabled service and cloud computing. BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir said, “BASIS SoftExpo will help the local IT companies expand their business.About 200 exhibitors will participate this year. SoftExpo is the platform to showcase the capability of local software companies in international arena,´
SoftExpo convener Mosatafizur Rahaman Sohel said, “Through this exposition local ICT companies can showcase their products in the international arena. Besides, BASIS Students Forum members showcase their innovative projects & can get a clear understanding of Bangladesh’s ever growing ICT sector,”.
Basis Softexpo is the annual mega exposition and the largest showcase of tech enabled products and services in the country’s private sector.
