The Islamic University (IU) on Saturday hosted a seminar on study collaboration with Canadian Universities on its campus in Kushtia.
The newly-established Pharmacy department organised the seminar at Room Number-140 of the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology building.
IU vice chancellor (VC) Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari was present as the chief guest while pro-vice chancellor (pro-VC) Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman and faculty dean Prof Dr Momtazul Islam attended as special guests.
Associate dean Dr Anis Haque of Shulic School of Engineering of Calvary University in Canada addressed as a resource person.
Departmental chairman Prof Dr M Maniruzzaman chaired the occasion.
Over 200 teachers and students under the faculty took part at the seminar.
