Solo Exhibition Underway At Gallery Twenty One

Gallery Twenty One has arranged a fifteen-day long 7th solo exhibition of artist Shohag Parvez titled “Rup Boichitre Bangladesh”. It was jointly inaugurated by prominent artist Monirul Islam, renowned story writer Selina Hossain and painter Goutam Chakrabarty on November 11, 2017. Shamim Subrana, director of the gallery, delivered the welcome speech at the opening ceremony.


50 recent artworks of the artist in different mediums such as paginating, pen scratch, water colour, acrylic, and oil are on display at the exhibition. All these artworks focus on the beauty of Bangladesh and its people, activities and culture.


Shohag Parvez was born in 1981 in the Kushtia District. He completed his graduation from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University. He has so far arranged six solo exhibitions and taken part in 67 group exhibitions. He has attended 45 art camps inside and outside the country as well.    


The exhibition will close on November 26, 2017.
