Volleyball league running on full rhythm

Four matches of first division league of the ‘Crony Group Dhaka Metropolis Premier, 1st and 2nd Division Volleyball Leagues 2017’were held at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium in the capital on Friday.


The opener of the day saw Uttara Sporting Club to adjudge as winners by 3-0 sets as Shahbagh Sports Club were not present on the venue.


Bhai Bhai Sangha earned a hard fought victory over Swabolombi Society by 3-2 sets (25-19, 19-25, 25-14, 25-27, 15-09 points) at ground-2.


Sonali Bank Club claimed a comfortable victory against East End Boys by 3-0 sets (25-20, 25-19, 28-26 points).


Two matches of premier league and two encounters of first division league are billed in today’s fixture of the tournament.


In premier division, Fire Service and Civil Defence will play against Bangladesh Jail in the first match at 2:30pm while Border Guard Bangladesh will meet Bangladesh Police in the second match at 4:00pm. Both the matches will be held at ground-1 of Dhaka Volleyball Stadium.


In first division, Uttara SC will face Swabolombi Society in the first match at 2:30pm while Bangladesh Ansar and Sonali Bank will playing in the second encounter at 4:00pm.

Both the matches will be held at ground-2 of Dhaka Volleyball Stadium.
