A total of 2,136 meritorious students from 86 educational institutions in Sirajganj received stipends and certificates for their glorious results in JSC and JDC examinations.
Khwaja Mozammel Hoque (R) Foundation (KMRF) has provided the students with stipends and certificates at a ceremony on Provakar Vidyaniketan premises in Belkuchi upazila of the district on Monday, says a press release.
KMRF chairman Khwaja Tipu Sultan was present at the event as the chief guest and distributed the stipend and honorary certificates among the meritorious students.
District education officer Md Shafiullah, UNO Md Oliuzzaman, OC of Belkuchi Police Station Md Sazzad Hossain and headmaster of Provakar Vidyaniketan Abdullah Al Mahmud attended it as the special guests with district commissioner Kamrun Nahar Siddika in the chair.
KMRF secretary Jobair Hossain, treasurer Sohel Hossain Ibne Botuta, chief coordinator greater Comilla region Engr. Khurshid Ahmed, chief coordinator greater Mymensing region Mohammad Ali, chief coordinator greater North Bengal region Anser Ali Khan Joy, chief coordinator greater Sylhet region Arman Khan and deputy coordinator of greater Dhaka region Mezbahul Alam Ripon and advisory committee members of KMRF was present at the event.
Singer Ferdous Wahid and former national cricket team captain Md Ashraful entertained the people through their magical talents in a special episode name ‘Medhay Mati’ directed by Arman Khan.
Students, teachers, guardians and elite persons of the society were present on the occasion, the release added.
