Beanibazar College clash: 30 BCL men sued

Over 30 leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), student body of ruling Awami League, have been sued in a case field in connection with Saturday’s factional clash on Beanibazar Government Collage campus.

 

Mahmud Hossian Jewel, supporter of BCL leader Pavel Mahmood, filed the case with Beanibazar police station against over 30 persons mentioning names of 25 activists of the college unit BCL.

 

Officer in-Charge of Beanibazar Police Station Juber Ahmed confirmed the matter.

 

At least ten BCL men hurt including Jewel in a clash between the supporters of Pavel Mahmood and Abul Kashem Pallab at Beanibazar Government Collage on Saturday noon.
