BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed his party’s deep concern over the series of attacks on publishers and writers in the capital.
He came out with his concern this evening following the murder of Jagriti Prakashani owner, Foysal Arefin Dipon, and attacks on Shuddhaswar Prakashani owner Ahmedur Rashid Tutul, poet Tareq Rahim and writer-researcher Ranadipam Basu.
Mirza Fakhrul said that these incidents in a day prove that law and order situation in the country has been deteriorated in the country.
He also demanded the government to arrest the attackers immediately and bring them to trial.
Mirza Fakhrul also urged the nation to be united in this crisis.
