Premium handset Helio S1 hits local market

Edison Group together with Grameenphone has recently launched its premium handset, Helio S1, in Bangladesh market.


High officials from Edison Group and Grameenphone were present during the launching ceremony in Grameenphone Centre at Jamuna Future Park in the city, said a press release on Tuesday, reports UNB.


Premium handset, Helio S1, supports 4G network, 64-bit processors and comes with many more features that the customers are craving for. Customer will enjoy exclusive Grameenphone internet package with every purchase of Helio S1.


Senior Director of Edison Group Rezwanul Hoque, Deputy Director (Marketing) of Grameenphone Syed Tahmeed Azizul Haque, its Head of Digital & Device Shabbir Hossain and Head of Device Sarder Showkat Ali were also present at the launching ceremony.


Helio S1 runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS. It comes with a 5 inch HD AMOLED display with MiraVision technology. Through MiraVision, contents will be displayed more vivid and saturated having more details, providing a far richer and more colorful viewing experience. Both display and back part of the phone will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.


Data will be processed faster and smoother on this phone because of its 64-bit 1.3 GHz true Octacore processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM. It sports a 13 Megapixel camera on the back and an 8 Megapixel camera on the front.


The Helio S1 comes with hybrid dual SIM, 2400 mAh Li-Polymer battery, OTG & OTA support. The Helio S1 is beautifully designed with metal bazel having a slim body of 6.95mm. Helio S1 is priced at Tk 17,990.
