Govt launches 100-day programme

to improve healthcare

Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque on Wednesday announced a 100-day programme to improve country’s overall healthcare service.

“Work plan will be made on the basis of programmes declared in the government’s election manifesto,” said the health minister at a press briefing at his secretariat office.

The 100-day programmes includes celebration of Health and Family Welfare care week, launching field level activities supervision process, visiting field level institutions and activities by the ministry officials, visiting divisional level institutions and activities by secretaries of health service division and medical education and family welfare division.

According to the programmes, the ministry will carry out campaign about different activities of health service division while sign board will be displayed in all hospitals, services provided by different hospitals and different user charges also will be displayed in the hospitals.
