GAIBANDHA: A three-day training on cow rearing for beneficiaries of Kkti Bari Ekti Khamar (EBEK) project under the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives ended at Youth Training Centre (YTC) here on Tuesday, reports BSS.
A concluding ceremony was also held at the training centre with deputy coordinator of YTC AM Khaled in the chair.Deputy director (DD) of Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) Abdus Sabur attended the function and addressed it as the chief guest. Gaibandha Press Club General Secretary Sarker M. Shahiduzzaman was present at the event as the special guest.
DD of BRDB Abdus Sabur in his speeches urged the EBEK project beneficiaries to apply the knowledge acquired from the training in practical life to change their socio-economic condition gradually and help the government build a poverty free country as well.
A total of 40 project beneficiaries coming from Gobindaganj upazila of the district took part in the training.
