A total of 90 percent posters, billboards, festoons and placards for the campaigning of 11th parliamentary election have been removed.
Election Commissioners directed all parties for removing all posters, billboards, festoons and placards within Sunday. But, only 90 percent have been removed.
Mobile courts are working for removing posters, festoons, ECs said.
Election Commission Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed said legal action will be taken who did not remove those. He also said people who are not involved in BNP’s attack on policemen, do not harass them.
He came up with this remark in a programme led by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda in Dhaka on Monday.
Volunteers and mobile courts are expecting they will remove all posters, billboards within today.
