Jatiya Party (Ershad) will start its interview of its aspirants today (Tuesday) and will continue till Wednesday to finalise its candidates for the upcoming elections.
JP has deferred its interviewing the party aspirants on November 13, which was scheduled for November 16.
The interview will be held at Emmanuel’s Convention Hall at the capital’s Gulshan at 10:00am, the party sources said.
JP parliamentary board members, including HM Ershad, its Senior Co-chairman Raushan Ershad, Co-chairman GM Quader and Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader will take interviews of the nomination seekers.
Among the party’s nomination aspirants of Khulna, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions will be interviewed on November 20 while the aspirants from Barishal, Dhaka, Chattrogram and Cumilla divisions on November 21.
Jatiya Party has sold a total of 2,865 nomination forms among the aspirants from November 11-15.
