46th founding anniversary: Jubo League pays tributes at Bangabandhu portrait

Bangladesh Awami Jubo League paid tributes to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing floral wreaths at his portrait at Dhanmondi 32 today marking the 46th founding anniversary of Jubo League, youth wing of ruling Awami League.

 

The  Awami Jubo League also paid homage to martyred Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani and martyrs of August 15, 1975 at the Banani graveyard and offered of fateha.

 

Bangladesh Awami Jubo League is the first youth organization of Bangladesh founded by Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni at the directive of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman through a youth convention at Institution of Engineers on November 11, 1972.

 

The organization has chalked different programmes to mark the anniversary.

 

Apart from central programme, district and upazila units of Jubo League will also organise separate programmes.

 

In a statement on the eve of the anniversary, Awami Jubo League President Omar Faroque Chowdhury and General Secretary Harunur Rashid urged all leaders and workers to make the programmes of the day a success.
