Nationalist Democratic Front to contest for all 300 seats in upcoming national election

Nationalist Democratic Front (NDF) will contest the upcoming 11th parliamentary election in 300 constituencies.

 

In this regard, the party will hold a view-exchange meeting at BMA auditorium in the capital on Saturday (September 15).

 

Some 500 aspirant candidates across the country will attend the event presided over by Nationalist Democratic Front (NDF) and National People's Party (NPP) Chairman Sheikh Salauddin Salu.

 

Alliance chairman Sheikh Salauddin Salu said the NDA believes that it is the moral responsibility of all political parties to participate in the election. The continuity of the progress of the country should be upheld through the peaceful, neutral and democratic process.

 

He also said the democracy, development and good governance will not last long in the country without credible election.

 

He welcomed policy of the use of electronic voting machine (EVM) in the parliamentary election.
