Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu on Tuesday said Khaleda Zia must be eliminated from the national politics through the national election of 2018.
He dubbed the BNP chairperson as the 'mother of razakars and militancy' and said the unity of AL alliance led by Sheikh Hasina must be upheld for the final victory of militancy-razakar free politics, reports UNB.
After paying tribute to the graveyard of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj in the afternoon, the minister came up with the remarks.
Quoting Inu UNB said "In 1975 the killers of Bangabandhu brought into politics the communal evil forces, which were eliminated in 1971. That was a national disaster. With the leadership of Sheikh Hasina we are struggling again to eliminate them."
"Jailed Khaleda Zia and BNP is the largest sponsor of razakars and militancy. To build a safe and peaceful Bangladesh, this evil forces and their sponsor should be eliminated", he said.
"There is no scope of negotiation, those who are talking about negotiation in the name of election and democracy, they are trying to legalise killers and criminals", he said.
