Import-export through Hili Port suspended for six days

The import and export activities will remain suspended for six days through Hili Land Port (HLP) under Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha.

President of Clearing and Forwarding Agents Association (C&FAA) at HLP Kamal Hossain Raz said import and export activities would remain suspended through the land port from August 20 to 25 during the vacation of Eid-ul- Azha.

“The imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of the goods will resume through the land port on August 26 next,” he said.

However, the movement of passport-visa holders will remain normal through the Immigration Check Post (ICP) at HLP during the Eid vacation despite closure of import and export activities, said Officer-in-Charge of the HLP check post Abdus Sabur.
