Actress and model Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed was taken back from hospital after receiving treatment as she fell sick when police took her to court after remand on charges of spreading rumours during the students' protest demanding safe roads.
She was taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Monday afternoon.
It is reported that she has been suffering from diarrhoea and received treatment in the hospital and then released.
The actress was scheduled to appear in court on Monday after a second round of questioning over her involvement in spreading rumours of deaths during the protests.
However, Nawshaba fell sick when an investigation officer took her to the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrates Court.
Earlier on August 4, she was detained by RAB from Dhaka’s Uttara over the allegation of spreading rumours of student’s death during a clash between Bangladesh Chhatra League and students demanding safer roads.
