After all the Bollywood bigwigs, Janhvi Kapoor has also earned the kudos from her brother Arjun Kapoor for her debut movie, Dhadak. The actor tweeted in appreciation of his sister and her movie on Thursday. “It’s out today #Dhadak !!! @ShashankKhaitan has made a heart warming & yet gut wrenching love story....he’s handled the 2 Of them so deftly. Ishan u have nailed the simplicity & energy of a young kid who just sees purity in love Janhvi u left me speechless so bloody proud of u,” he wrote in his tweet.

Arjun had also written a sweet note for Janhvi before the film’s trailer was released. “Tomorrow you will be part of the audience forever #JanhviKapoor cause your trailer comes out... Firstly, sorry I’m not there in Mumbai but I’m by your side, don’t worry. I just wanted you to know this profession is amazing if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow your own path & instinct. It’s not gonna be easy but I know you are ready for all the madness that will ensue. All the best for #Dhadak! I’m certain that my friends @ShashankKhaitan & @karanjohar have presented you & #IshaanKhatter as the modern Romeo & Juliet with elan,” he had written in a string of tweets.

After watching the trailer, he wrote: “#JanhviKapoor, today starts a new & a beautiful journey! You are amazing and so is #IshaanKhatter! Both of you are magical in the #DhadakTrailer... Only love for you both! All the very best to the whole team.”

Arjun and Janhvi are half-siblings. While Arjun and his Anshula are Boney Kapoor’s children from late first wife Mona, Janhvi and Khushi are Boney’s daughters from late actor Sridevi.
