Female students of the Dhaka University brought out a procession in the campus demanding safe campus and release of quota reform movement leaders.
Over a hundred students of Rokeya Hall, Begum Shamsunnahar Hall, and others brought out a procession in front of Rokeya Hall around 11:30 am.
Their other demands are—immediate arrest of the attackers and their punishment, publishing of gazette on quota reform at the earliest and bearing of medical expenses of injured students.
Meanwhile, another group of students under the banner of DU General Students formed a human chain at the foot of Raju Sculpture in front of TSC. This group allegedly enjoys the blessings of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of Awami League.
They alleged that now the leaders and activists of Jamaat-Shibir and left wing student groups are trying to make campus unsafe in the name of quota reform movement.
Meanwhile, teachers and students of Sociology Department of the university formed a human chain at the foot of Aparajeyo Bangla protesting attack and arrest of Moshiur Rahman, a quota reform activist and a second year student of the department.
