Two suspects in Awami League leader Farhad Hossain murder case was killed in a reported gunfight with detectives in city’s Uttar Badda area early Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Nurul Islam alias Killer Sunny, 30, and Amit alias Dada, 35.

Tipped off, a team of Detective Branch of police conducted a drive at an under-construction building on Satarkul-Beraid road in Projapoti Garden area around 2 am, said Mashiur Rahman, deputy commissioner (north) of DB.
