Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has recommended the officials concerned at the Land Registration Office at Tejgaon and Dhaka Power Development Company (DPDC) in the city to ensure hassle free service to people.
ACC made the recommendation during separate drives conducted to these public service-providing institutions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The drives were conducted as part of the campaign to prevent the bribe and corruption in the government offices.
A team consisting of five members led by Assistant Director of ACC Ratan Kumar Das conducted the drive at registration complex of Tejgaon in the city on Tuesday while assistant director A S M Taj-ul Islam led another ACC team for the drive at DPDC at Sher-e-Bangla on Wednesday.
Coordinator of the enforcement drive and director general of the ACC (Administration) Muhammad Munir Chowdhury said “Services for land and power are essential for the citizens. These drives were conducted to ensure the hassle-free service.”
