Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Sunday said BNP standing committee member Moudud Ahmed has become detached from the people in his own constituency.
“He is away from the people of his constituency for last nine years. He has no contact with them whatsoever. He doesn’t go there, do any work. That is why making so many complaints for making an issue,” Quader, also Awami League general secretary, said.
He came up with the observations while talking to newsmen after inspecting road repairing works in Poduar Bazar area in Cumilla this noon.
Quader also alleged that BNP itself does not want that its chief Khaleda Zia get any treatment.
“She is getting the maximum health facilities possible in jail. But the BNP leaders have no concern regarding this. They are busy with making politics out of it,” he said.
