Bangladesh women’s cricket team left home for Malaysia on Friday to take part in the ACC Women’s Asia Cup T20I 2018.
The six-nation women’s continental cricket event will be held in Kuala Lumpur from June 3 to 10.
Bangladesh captain Salma Khatun hoped her side will play good cricket to reach into the final saying, “All teams are good. So do us. Of course we will try to play good cricket, if so, we can play the final. We hope to bring a good result.”
Bangladesh will play the first game against Sri Lanka at Royal Selangor Club on June 3. In the remaining matches, Bangladesh will face Pakistan, India, Thailand and host Malaysia on June 4, 6, 7 and 9 respectively.
