At least 100 people were detained during an anti-narcotics drive in Ganaktuli area of city’s Hazaribagh on Sunday.
Maruf Hossain Sarder, deputy commissioner of Ramna Division said the drive started at Sweeper colony around 10:30 am and continued till 2 pm.
The law enforcers also recovered huge quantities of narcotic items including Yaba and Phensidyl from the spot.
On Saturday, law enforcers conducted similar drive at Geneva camp in Mohammadpur area and slums in Korail and TT para of the capital and detained 153 people.
The nationwide anti-drug drive was launched by Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on May 4 upon receiving directives from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
