Only a minuscule of the humankind is fortunate enough to be blessed with flawless, glowing skin. But wait, you don’t have to become too hopeless. Achieving spotless, beautiful skin is possible for all. For that you just need to put a bit more effort than others. Practicing good habits goes a long way. If you eat nutritious food, have sufficient sleep and protect your skin from the ray of sun, it will be reflected on your skin. Here are some tips to get your glow back.


Use A Gentle Soap Or Facewash

It is absolutely important to keep your skin clean. Dust can accumulate and clog pores. Make it a habit of washing your face before sleeping and after waking up. Try to use a mild soap or a facewash and make sure that it suits your skin.


Moisturize Well!

The importance of moisturization cannot be stressed enough. Cleaning is great for skin but strips it off moisture. Dry skin causes wrinkles and many other skin problems in the long run. Use a moisturizer every time you clean your skin. If you have dry skin, use it more.


Spot Removing Cream

No matter how careful we stay, some persistent acne marks and dark spots seem find their way to our skin. Use a spot removal cream especially in those areas. Simply using it on one day will not help. Use it regularly to see good results. 


Use Sunscreen

Sunlight is the cause of at least 80 percent of the signs of visible aging, such as freckling, skin thinning, wrinkles and some facial lines, and can contribute to the development of skin cancer. Protect your skin daily using “broad-spectrum” sunscreens that block both UVB and UVA light.


Lower Your Stress

Chronic tension and physical stress causes surges of cortisol in the body, a hormone that can break down collagen and elastin, ultimately leading to wrinkles. Meditate, do some light yoga and try to remain stress free throughout the day.


Stay Hydrated

Drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. On Ramadan, we tend to forget this important ingredient. Keep a water bottle with you from Iftar to Sehri so that you remember drinking water frequently.

Persevere with patience and follow these habits. You will eventually find your fine lines and wrinkles diminishing. Glowing bright skin is only a matter of time.
