Lost limb in road crash, Naogaon schoolboy dies

A schoolboy, who lost his limb after a human hauler hit a motorcycle he was riding on Bypass Bridge in Naogaon district town on Friday afternoon, died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital at night, UNB reports.

 

Police said the accident took place around 4:30pm as the human hauler hit the motorcycle sharing ride by three friends, including Niloy, leaving his one leg severed from the thigh.

 

Niloy, a class IX student of Naogaon KD Government High School, was taken to Sadar Hospital.

 

As his condition was critical, doctors referred him to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH), but he died on the way while being moved to Rajshahi around 8:30pm.
