BNP acting chairperson Tarique Rahman asked a teacher of Dhaka University (DU) to organise students for mounting up ‘quota reform’ movement, a leaked telephone conversation revealed it.
Tarique Rahman, who is now staying in London and operating the leadership of the BNP, called Prof Dr Mamun Ahmed, a teacher of BNP-Jamaat backed ‘white’ panel, asking him to organise and support students to mount the movement.
Prof Mamun admitted that Tarique Rahman phoned him on Tuesday evening, an online news portal report.
In their 2.40 minute conversation on Tuesday evening, Tarique Rahman asked Prof Mamun to talk with the BNP-Jamaat minded teachers and students about the movement.
Tarique Rahman also asked him (Prof Mamun) to provide update information on the next day.
