In a celebration of 55 glorious years of in Bangladesh, the Coca-Cola Company on Saturday launched ‘Thums Up Charged’, reiterating its commitment to offer more beverage choices its consumers at Radisson Blu Water Garden in the capital.
T Krishnakumar, President, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, Ishteyaque Amjad, Vice President Public Affairs and Communications, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, Vijay Parasuraman, Vice President, Marketing, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, Shadab Khan, Managing Director of Coca-Cola Bangladesh Ltd, Tapas Kumar Mondal, Managing Director of International Beverages Private Ltd, ASM Mohiuddin Monem, Deputy Managing Director, Abdul Monem Limited, along with the other high officials from Coca-Cola Bangladesh attended the launching function.Speaking on the occasion, T Krishnakumar, President, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia said, “It is indeed a remarkable moment for us, as Coca-Cola celebrates 55 glorious years in Bangladesh.”
Coca-Cola across the globe is accelerating forward towards becoming a total beverage company by broadening its product portfolio and entering new product categories, he said.
“In Bangladesh we have identified a potential space for the Bangladesh youth – the need for recharge. The launch of Thums Up Charged addresses this with its unique strong taste, fizz and ingredients that will help ‘charging you up’. We believe this is a creation of a new category – that of mass ‘recharge”, he added.
Talking to daily sun, the president said, “The Thums Up received US$1:0 billion revenue and we wants to accelerate our business portfolio through introduction of new beverage.”
