The deceased were identified as Besat Moni Chiran, 65, and her daughter Sujata Chiran, 40. Police recovered their bodies from the 4th floor of a multi-storey building in the area around 11pm on Tuesday.

Police said the murder came to light when Tlester Daring, husband of Sujata's eldest daughter, went to the flat from his workplace around 7pm on Tuesday.
Being informed, police rushed in and recovered the bodies of the mother and her daughter.
The law enforcers also collected the footage from the CCTV camera of the building where they found four youths, including Sanjit, son of Sujata's sister, entering the flat on Tuesday afternoon.
