Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home from Singapore on Tuesday evening after shortening her four-day official visit by a day following the crash of a Bangladeshi plane in Nepal.
A regular flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 6:15pm.
Earlier, the Prime Minister left Changi International Airport in Singapore at 4 pm local time.
At least 51 people died as an aircraft of US-Bangla Airlines from Dhaka to Kathmandu crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport in the capital of the Himalayan country on Monday.
Sheikh Hasina went to Singapore on Sunday on a four-day official visit at the invitation of her Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong.
During her stay in Singapore, the Prime Minister on Monday paid a courtesy call first female Muslim President of Singapore Halimah Yacob, held a meeting with Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong, and joined a luncheon hosted by Lee Hsien Loong.
