The 'qulkhwani' of prominent artist and former teacher of Nabakumar School, Sania Haque will be held on March 16 (Friday) after Asar's prayers at her Lalmatia residence in the capital, reports BSS.
Her family members requested all relatives and well wishers to take part in the qulkhwani at Subasto Kaberi, 2/1 Lalmatia, Block-C, said a press release here today.
Sania, also a writer, passed away on March 9 at her residence at the age of 82 and was buried at the Azimpur Graveyard here.
She left behind two daughters, three grandsons and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
Her husband Mojammel Haque died in Cairo plane crash in 1965. He was one of the founders and News Editor of defunct 'Dainik Bangla'. Her father Advocate Emdad Ali was a member of parliament (MLA) during Pakistan regime.
