Mohiuddin Ahmed, commercial manager of the largest circulated Bengali daily Bangladesh Pratidin, passed away.
He was 66. He breathed his last at a Dhaka hospital on Saturday evening. He died of heart attack, a statement sent by the daily said, quoting the doctors.
Bangladesh Pratidin family is deeply shocked at the sudden demise of Mohiuddin. Joint Editor Abu Taher and Advertising department’s General Manager Masudur Rahman visited his family in Khilgaon area of the capital and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
He left behind wife, two sons, relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Mohiuddin hailed from Matlab of Chandpur district. Bashundhara Group chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan and Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam expressed condolence at the death of Mohiuddin.
