Speakers underscored the need for ensuring quality and sustainable education in and around the classrooms developing collaboration and communication with local and international partner schools.
They made the observation in the first founding anniversary of Global Educators Initiative Sustainable Transformation [GEIST] International Foundation at EMK center Dhanmondi, Dhaka recently.
GEIST is a platform supporting the educational organisations and the beneficial worldwide work to transform ideas, views focused on quality and sustainable education to make the beautiful earth more beautiful. It’s a non-profit charitable organization. GEIST is a global platform of educators and students aiming to create networking and improving global competencies. It encourages students and educators to build a better world using their knowledge.
The organisation focuses mainly in the areas of English, Environment, Cross culture, Women/ Girls empowerment, STEM centered learning, Nutrition and Leadership.
“We need to communicate with our international partner schools to improve our global competencies and meet future challenge of sustainability,” the speakers observed.
President, GEIST, Bangladesh unit, Biplob Kumar Das chaired the formal ceremony. Academics, researchers, educators, students and development workers across the country were present in the ceremony.
