Rani Mukerji’s wedding attire was made in just three hours

While actresses these days give their designers a fair idea of their wedding dates, sometimes a year in advance, Rani Mukerji dared to be different. She never had any dream attire or a particular look in her mind for her D-day. We always thought Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra’s wedding would be one to remember. She’s a top actress in Bollywood and he’s obviously The Aditya Chopra, head honcho of Yash Raj Films; but the couple always wanted to keep their personal affair away from all the limelight. Instead of setting a new example for the big fat Indian wedding, they secretly tied the knot in Italy, in 2014. Since then, no pictures or any other information of their wedding has been leaked online. We don’t even know what the pretty actress wore for her special day, but have a bit of a fair idea.

Rani recently graced Neha Dhupia’s talk show, BFFs with Vogue, with her designer friend Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and revealed how her wedding attire was ready within 3 hours. The designer who recently was in the limelight for his comment on Indian women and saree, was given merely three hours by the actress to design her wedding trousseau. She reveals how Sabya always had a faint idea that she would call him at the last moment. He knew her too well and as a result, he kept his designs ready. So when Rani called him, he could actually deliver her attire in flat three hours because he had them ready! Well, after seeing Anushka Sharma’s bridal lehenga and the way she carried it, we’re dying to know what Rani’s attire was like.

Rani and Aditya Chopra never had any wedding planners on board for their special occasion. It was Aditya Chopra throughout the time and he was everywhere. He was the one who thought everything out and got executed. Rani even agreed on how her wedding was a comedy.
