Transsion launches new Tecno devices

Transsion Bangladesh has launched new device of its flagship brand Tecno, Camon i, under the global flagship Camon series, in Bangladesh recently.


The company claimed that the smartphone of Camon series brings to its users, “Camera-centric” smartphones, enabled with Full View display, at priceline of Tk 14,690.


The company unveiled the productline on first day of the recently ended Smartphone and Tab Expo in the capital.


Post, Telecom and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar, ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Transsion Bangladesh chief executive officer Rezwanul Hoque and chief operating officer Shyamol Saha were, among others, present on the launching event, said a news release.


Rezwanul Hoque said, “Camon i has been thoughtfully designed, based on extensive research into what consumers want from their smartphones. We found that the Bangladeshi youth is looking for a great camera to take pictures at any time of the day and in any light condition,”.


The official also claimed that the consumers look for a bigger screen for viewing a multitude of online content and an added benefit of a processor which can help users multi-task by sharing content instantly and its elegant aesthetics that takes the smartphone experience a notch higher.


Armed with a 3GB RAM and a 32 GB ROM, the Camon i comes with a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor for bolstering speed and efficiency.


It comes with 3050mAh battery with 18W xCharge, fast charger solution.  To up its users’ style quotient, Camon i comes in three colour variants - Champagne Gold, Midnight Black and City Blue.


To boost the consumer confidence all TECNO products comes with a unique promise of 100 days’ replacement warranty and 13 months’ free service warranty period which will be provided by Transsion’s servicing brand Carlcare.
