Cold chasing fire kills two in Kushtia

Two young men were killed in a dispute over setting fire to get warmed against cold in Kushtia on Sunday, UNB reports.

The youth were identified as Shamim Islam, 23 and Sohan Mondol, 21.

The incident occurred at about 11 am at Chorhas in the town.

Officer-in-Charge of Kushtia Model Thana Obaidur Rahman said the clash erupted morning when Sohan along with his friends were trying to set fire for getting warm behind Shamim's house in the area. Shamim opposed them to set fire there.

At a stage a friend of Sohan stabbed Shamim, who also stabbed Sohan, in retaliation.

Local people admitted them to Kushtia General Hospital where the duty doctor declared them dead.

Police held two people in this incident
