Radio Capital’s first founding anniversary today

Radio Capital, a private radio station, representing frequency modulation (FM) of 94.8, celebrates its maiden founding anniversary on Tuesday amid festivity and special programmes.


As a latest media entity of the East West Media Group Limited, the radio began its commercial operations on January 2, 2017.


East West Media Group Limited managing director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir is scheduled to attend the event on Tuesday morning at the radio station’s head office in the capital’s Bashundhara Residential Area. Radio Capital chief executive officer (CEO) Naem Nizam will also be present on the occasion.


The radio station’s executive director Mehdi Malek Sajib said that the radio station had already won the listeners’ hearts.


Mehdi Malek Sajib told the daily sun: “We started the radio station with a vow to introduce innovations for the entertainment of the listeners. We have completed our first year of success.

From the second year, we intend to extend our coverage. We shall introduce new programmes to attract people from all walks of lives.”


He informed that guests would enjoy a day-long live show where celebrated singers will also perform,” he said.


Mehdi also expressed his desire for extension of radio coverage all over the country within next two years.
