JSC examinee ‘commits suicide’ for failure in Sirajganj

A Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinee, who failed to pass the examination, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at Charuruhita village in Sadar upazila of Sirajganj early Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Sanjida Sultana Srabonti, daughter of Md Shaheen of the village and a student of Rasulganj Bohumukhi High School.

Family sources said Sanjida hanged herself from the beam of the room with his scarf as she could not bear the pain of failure in the exam, reports UNB.

Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Lokman Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
