The National School Football Championship will begin in the third week of February next, said a Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) press release on Saturday.
The decision was taken at national school football committee's meeting held on Saturday at board room of BFF with it's chairman Bijon Barua in the chair.
The competition will be held in eight zone across the country with the participation of 53 district school football teams.
In the first phase the competition will be held in group league basis and champions of eight zone, split into two groups, will play in two league basis final round.
Maximum twenty players from each school will be allowed to register their names and their age will be verified through school's admit card and birth registration certificates.
The meeting also decided to provide long-term training to the selected players from this competition.
