7 admission seekers jailed at BSMRSTU for adopting unfair means

A mobile court in Gopalganj on Friday sentenced seven admission seekers to 20-day jail each for adopting unfair means in the admission test of ‘A’ unit of Banghabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University ( BSMRSTU).

 

They are Tanvir from Barisal, Palash Matbbur from Madaripur, Joy Emamul and Saurav from Jessore, Iqbal from Mymensingh, Md Kawser from Dhaka and Utsho from Kurigram district, reports UNB.

 

The university authorities caught them red handed from different exam halls for using electronic device during the exam, said Md Mahbubul Alam, public relations officer of the university.

 

Later, they were produced before the mobile court led by executive magistrate Md Abdullah Al Mamun which awarded them the jail term.
