Bangladesh Under-19 National Cricket Team thrashed India to earn an 8-wicket victory in their Asian Cricket Council U-19 Asia Cup Group A match at Royal Selanogor Club in Malaysia on Tuesday.

With this dominating win, Bangladesh earned their third consecutive triumph in the meet so far. The unbeaten youths proved themselves to be a formidable force.

The youngsters bowled brilliantly to restrict India to a paltry score of 187. Indian batsmen were never allowed to settle as Bangladesh bowlers started to hammer their line up right from the word go.

India opener Manjit Kalra (1) was run out by Afif Hossain right at the beginning. Later, Robiul Hoque and Afif blasted India’s batting line up into pieces ending up with figures 3/43 and 2/38 respectively.

An unbeaten cameo by Salman Khan (38) helped India to a respectable total of 187 runs.

But India bowlers were no match for the seasoned youngsters, Bangladesh opener Pinak Ghosh made an unbeaten 81 off 77 balls and anchored his side all the way through the match.

Supported by Towhid Hridoy who scored an unbeaten 48, Pinak made sure they finish the match in style and take the side home with 8 wickets in hand and 22 overs remaining.
