The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certi-ficate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published today.
Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban at 10:00am.
Later, the minister will formally announce the results at 1:00pm at a press briefing.
Tapan Kumar Sarker, Controller of Dhaka Education Board, said the results will be published simultaneously from respective centres or colleges and online at 1:30pm.
Institution-based result sheet has to be downloaded through entry of EIIN of respective educational institutions from www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd.
Students can also collect their results from www.educationboardresults.gov.bd result corner of www.educationboard.gov.bd and website of the respective education boards.
The soft copy of the result sheets of centre or educational institution will be sent to the e-mail of respective Deputy Commissioners and Upazila Nirbahi Officers.
If necessary, the hard copy of the results can be collected from the offices of Deputy Commissioner and Upazila Nirbahi Officer.
Examinees will get their results from their respective examination centres or educational institutions, websites of respective centres, and through internet and mobile phones, ministry sources said.
A total of 11, 83,686 examinees from 8,864 educational institutions sat for this year’s HSC examinations. Of them, 6,35,697 were male and 5, 47,989 female.
